A home health care aide (HHA) is a licensed healthcare professional who provides health care within private residences or other residential facilities to families and individuals in need of assistance in their daily life. These patients may suffer from physical impairments or disabilities, illness or injury, or recovery from injury or surgery.
Home health aides now comprise a significant portion of the healthcare system and have a significant impact in a senior citizen’s daily life.
They are now able to assist with new skills, including cooking and laundry, in addition to previously identified tasks such as bathing and dressing and an integral member of the Home Care Team.
“I had a great experience with MCHS from start to finish.”
